Onsdag den 13. februar fortalte Google at de har målt op til 50 gange flere søgninger fra Apples iPhone end fra nogen anden mobiltelefon. Tallet er så højt at det har fået Google til at tjekke sine data for fejl.
“We thought it was a mistake and made our engineers check the logs again,” fortalte Vic Gundotra, chef for Google’s mobilafdeling Financial Times under denne uges “Mobile World Congress” i Barcelona.
“If the trend continues and other handset manufacturers follow Apple’s lead in making web access easy, the number of mobile searches will overtake fixed internet searches within the next several years”, fortsatte Mr Gundotra.
